Hi. The name's Josh Magpantay. I'm a graduate cum laude of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Film and Television, and I'm a filmmaker in New York City specializing in branded content. I've won national awards for my work as the multimedia editor at a small newsmagazine, and I've been screened at multiple festivals. I'm currently a graphic designer at Brandshop, Group Nine Media's in-house Branded Content and Advertising agency.

I believe that good design is at the heart of all things—yes, even film and video. I'm a fan of the philosophy of subtractive design, which ties into my penchant for minimalist and modernist work.

I'm a proud city dweller, not by upbringing, but by choice—I've lived in New York, Paris, and Boston so far, and am especially fond of the way you can get around these places on bike. You can find me most days sprinting down Park Avenue or up the Hudson River Greenway, or cruising up Kent Ave along the East River.

I'm very passionate about transit in urban spaces. I'd take a bullet for the Lexington Avenue Local, and I think that the G is a perfectly fine train.
